Souvenirs
This morning I was rummaging through my pantyhose drawer (a very rare occurrence) and look what I found tucked in the corner:
Immediately I was transported back to November 1997 Barcelona where I found these pieces of glass that had been smoothed by constant grinding with the pebble beach. I wasn't able to persuade any of my jewellery-making friends to make anything with these beauties but I live in hope! What souvenirs have you kept from your travels?

I keep shells and little stones I find on beaches.
In Austrailia I got several wood turned bowls made from native trees. But it depends on where I am as to what I get...
So glad to see I'm not the only person who collects stuff like this! I have a crystal bowl that is now FULL of sea glass that I've collected over the past two years. My daughter collects it too. We don't collect amber (pooh! yukky beer!)but we both get REALLY excited about blue and purple bits! (not too many of those)
