Larch Shibori

As promised, here are my last two shibori style pieces (emphasis on last):

This one has 25 circles and was loosely intended for my challenge quilt for the guild's 25th anniversary. Once again, this photo does not do justice to the rich curry colour:

These are really gorgeous, Brenda. I'm sorry your dyeing period has come to an end! Still, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your piecing, which I also love...

Hmmm....maybe your enthusiasm has migrated halfway round the world to me. I LOVE these circles..... I'm hoping to have enough cash to buy enough fabric to have a bit of a dye fest this coming summer (as winter is just beginning here, I have a bit of a wait!). I've decided I want to improve my hand-dyed stash, and think I could use some good shibori-style pieces (though I admit the thought of SEWING the circles is daunting......tyeing, yes, sewing???)
